A. It is not always that we are the ones being rejected. A lot of times, we
also reject people. So, it is important for all of us to practice compassion
towards everyone and respect differences rather than reject someone.
This will be an individual activity. Every student will create a compassion mantra. Be
as creative as possible. One example is given here:
Do not SQUISH others
S: Start or spread rumours about others
Q: Quit supporting people
U: Use mean words
I: Ignore someone on purpose
S: Say threatening things
H: Humiliate others
After each student creates their own mantra, they will share them in class.
B. This will be an individual activity. Each student will be provided with a
worksheet in which they will answer questions related to an incident
where they rejected someone.
Think of a situation in the past where you rejected someone and answer the following
questions:
1. What led to the situation?
