Imperative Sentences

The first sentence is a request and the second sentence is an order.
A sentence that expresses a request or an order is called an Imperative Sentence.
• An imperative sentence usually starts with a verb or words such as ‘please’ and ‘do not.‘
• An imperative sentence denotes the following moods:
Order — Come here.
Request — Please give me your book.
Advise — Always speak the truth.
Prohibition — Do not make noise.
