Conclusion

No generation can claim to be perfect. The older and the new generation can teach
each other things that they know or have known because of their specific lifestyles and

circumstances. In spite of how huge the generation gap seems to be, basic human values of

kindness, compassion, respect, and environmental consciousness should be carried forward

from generation to generation. If individuals across generations accept that differences are
inevitable and can be a source of learning and respect, rather than a source of conflict, the

negative impact of generation gap can be reduced.
