B. This will be a class-level activity. The teacher will show five things of
common use and ask students to come up with creative uses for these
things which are unrelated to what these things are actually meant for.
For example, a pen can also be used to hold up one’s hair in a bun. The
things that the teacher can offer are:
• A phone
• A water bottle
• A spoon
• A coffee mug
• A book
The most creative answer for each item will win that particular round. The winner
will be asked to come up with five more such items that other students can identify
uses for.
Movie Critic
Watch the 1994 American comedy-drama movie ‘Forrest Gump’. It is
about a man with low IQ who recounts the early years of his life when
he found himself in the middle of key historical events.
