II. Degrees of Comparison (Adjectives)

We use adjective to compare nouns that have the same quality. When we compare two
nouns, we add er to the adjective.

 Renu ran fast.  Pooja ran faster.
When we compare more than two nouns, we add est to the adjective.

We also add the before the adjective.

 Renu ran fast. (Positive degree)  Pooja ran faster. (Comparative degree)
 Jyoti ran the fastest. (Superlative degree)
