They moved forward and saw a bangle seller was
selling bangles. Aman’s Grandmother bought
some bangles. There were some toy shops too.
Grandfather took Aman and Anu to one of the
shops. He bought some toys for them. Aman
and Anu thanked him for the toys.
A little ahead, there was a snake charmer. He was
playing a tune and a cobra was dancing to its tune.
Sometimes the cobra swayed and sometimes it
raised its hood. In the beginning, Aman and Anu
were afraid of the snake but later they started enjoying
it.
There was a giant wheel in the fair. Women, children
and some young men were taking rides on it.
“Can we also sit on the giant wheel?” Anu asked
her Grandmother.
“No, children. It is not safe for you because you are
too small,” she told Anu.
There were a camel and an elephant in the fair giving fun rides to the children.
Aman and Anu sat on the elephant’s back. It was fun. Soon it was getting
dark, so they returned home. Aman and Anu enjoyed the fair very much.
