Tick () the things we can buy in a fair.

During the summer vacation Aman and Anu went to

their Grandmother’s village Shantipur. There was

a fair at Shantipur. Men, women and children
were going to the fair. They were going there

          in tongas, bullock-carts and cycle-rickshaws.

Many people were going on foot. All the

          people were wearing colourful clothes.

Aman and Anu also went to see the fair with

their grandparents. It was a big fair. There

were many stalls in the fair. A sweet seller

was selling sweets but there were many
          flies sitting on his sweets.

“Look at his sweets,” Grandfather told
Aman and Anu. ‘We should not buy things

kept in the open. Flies spread many diseases.’
