When his friends Hari and Bubbly came to his house to play with him, Balu

did not let them touch his toys.

So they sat quietly while he played with his toy train.

His friends don’t come to his house anymore. Even in school, no one talks to
him.

Balu feels very lonely. He wants to play with other children.

One day Balu’s mother bought a brand new cricket bat

for him. “Go and play in the park. Take your new bat
and share it with your friends,” said his mother.

“You will have much more fun when you share

your things with others.”

Balu rushed off to the park, eager to show his

new bat to his friends.

“Oh! It’s a beautiful bat!” said Ajay.

“What a fun! We can play cricket now,” said
Neeru. “I have a ball.”
