2. Assume responsibility

We often blame other people, circumstances, and even objects for our problems. But

life is full of different people and situations; some are good and some are bad. Unless
you assume responsibility for your own life, you’ll always be at the mercy of those

circumstances. Instead of blaming others for what’s wrong in your life, focus on what
you can do to make things better.

                3. Stop seeking stimulation

We live in a world of endless stimulation. If you want to be happy, overcome this
addiction. Develop the habit to enjoy life in its entirety, even when the stimulation

stops. Cherish each moment you spend with the people you love. Savour every bite
of food you get to eat. Enjoying every experience will give you many new reasons to

                    be happy.
                4. Take action

Taking action is the logical response to assuming responsibility for your life. Get
behind the steering wheel of your own life. Educate yourself and commit to find
happiness no matter what it takes. With enough hard work and dedication, you really

can create the life you want.

                5. Expect nothing

We expect others to treat us better than we treat them. We want to live like rock
stars and start ignoring the fact that only a few people reach that level of success.

Accept life in its entirety; stop thinking in terms of what should be and accept what
is. When you live without expectations, every good thing becomes a wonderful
                    surprise.

              Conclusion

Dear students, a happy life has more to do with the people around us, how we live our

lives, the way we spend our time, and how we perceive ourselves and understand our life
experiences. Thus, happiness is the name of only a feeling and a state of mind and that is
the feeling of satisfaction and gratitude. No matter where they are or what they are doing,

happy people recognise that they always have something to be grateful for. At the end of
the day, bad or good things will happen to you. You will have highs and lows in your life.

You’re only human, just like everybody else. Stay happy no matter what happens. Be with
others who make you smile. Hold on to your values, accept the good, and imagine the best.
Always do things you love; listen to your heart; push yourself; and be open to change.
