An old proverb states, “Families that play together stay together.” We are all aware of
the importance of spending quality time with our families to foster better bonds. Family
time together nurtures self-assurance, teaches us empathy and produces priceless
memories to be cherished for a lifetime. With every bond, we learn something new.
With the following story, let's understand how we can strengthen there bonds.
Asha was waiting for her children, Amar and Anisha. She had refreshments ready for
them on the final day of their tests. “Yay, Mother; the tests are over! My teacher liked
the Science project,” Anisha shouted with delight.
“Mother, I appreciate your help with the Maths assignment. Full marks are promised!”
said Amar smartly.
“Really? Excellent! I am pleased,” Asha exclaimed. “I have
a small surprise for you.”
“Samosas? Pizza? Idli?” guessed Anisha.
“No, kids, the three guesses are out.
I made you some delicious cheeseburgers,”
said Asha. The children cheered. They
continued the discussion while enjoying
delicious hot burgers. Asha was very
friendly with them. They always told their
mother about any issues they were having.
She was a friend to them in many ways.
