Future Perfect Tense
• I shall have finished my work by 8 p.m.
• She will have left before you reach her house.
The verbs ‘shall have finished’ and ‘will have left’ are the future perfect forms of ‘finish’ and
‘leave’ respectively.
(shall / will + have + III form of verb.)
We use Future Perfect Tense to talk about an action that will be completed by a given point of
time in future.
This is Ruchika’s schedule. With the help of these pictures and the verbs given in the brackets,
fill in the blanks writing her tomorrow’s schedule using future perfect tense.
1. Ruchika ___________________________ (get up) by 8 a.m.
2. Ruchika’s school ___________________________ (finish) by 2 p.m.
