Suffix ‘er/or’
He was a conductor.
My father was a teacher.
Here conductor (noun) refers to person who directs the performance of an orchestra or a choir of
singers. The word conductor is formed by adding suffix ‘or’ to conduct (verb).
Such nouns can also be formed by using ‘er’ to a verb, e.g. teach + er = teacher.
Now add ‘er’ or ‘or’ to make a noun from the following verbs.
