I love and respect my mother and father,
They are most important in this world.
No gift is greater than my parents,
No treasure above my parents.
My mother is really thoughtful, to me very dear,
She is the best teacher and a well preacher.
She finds time to be my playmate, and a good counsellor,
She plays the role better than a doctor.
My father’s love, endured and cared,
Rain or shine, in his love I am always layered.
He is my guide, hero, and the most wonderful dad,
He loves me whether I am good or bad.
Each day I will do my best and make them proud,
I will grow and blossom, assure them without doubt.
Lord, this is my prayer for my dear parents,
Protect them with your grace and abundance.
