Title Bar
The Title bar, present at the top of the Scratch window, displays the version of the
Scratch 3 editor. It also contains Control buttons to minimise , maximise , and
close the window.
Menu Bar
The Menu bar, present below the Title bar, provides commands to work with projects.
Stage
The Stage is the area where every project runs. You can
watch animation and stories, and play games on the
Stage. The background of the Stage is called Backdrop.
The Stage is 480 pixels wide and 360 pixels tall. It is
divided into x and y coordinates. The middle of the Stage
has x-coordinate 0 and y-coordinate 0.
Go and Stop Buttons
The Go button is used to start the execution of a project. The Stop button is used
to stop the execution of a project.
Sprite
A Sprite is an object or character that performs actions in a Scratch project. By default,
every Scratch project starts with one sprite – the Cat.
